Draper North Ranch

$0.00
1,761.00 Acres

Open Range Ranch is located in the heart of cattle country and is ready for your cattle.  Immediate possession of grassland that has not been grazed during the 2017 season makes this a highly sought after grassland unit.  This highly productive Jones County grassland unit has been used for hay production the last couple years.  Only a small portion of the native prairie grass has been hayed.  The grass on this unit will be sure to add extra pounds of beef to your cattle operation.

Cow/Calf pairs and yearlings do excel in this grass country.  The range is diverse topography with rolling prairie and productive soils for a pasture unit.  Rough ravines could provide some winter protection during an early fall storm.  Well watered with dams and rural water and artesian well.  Owner would consider splitting up this unit into smaller tracts.  Would be a great add on unit or a complete stand along ranch.  There are nearly 331 acres of productive cropland and many acres of productive hayland.

Quit chasing grass for your operation and buy a ranch that has been put together with tremendous access.   Great access from county roads and only a few miles from South Dakota Hwy #83 and Interstate 90.  Located about 26 miles south of the Ft. Pierre Livestock barn, one of the largest cattle markets in the upper Midwest. Other livestock barns in the area include the Presho Livestock barn.  If you're a cattle operator isn't it time to secure your pastureland so you don't have to sell down your herd during this dry period.
